Privacy policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

Equiny is run by MB Chetny, registration number 308039008, Meklos g. 6, Labunava, Kedainiu r. (“we”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

Your privacy choices

Under California law, sharing data with Meta for ad measurement can count as “sharing”. You can opt out on our Your privacy choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal sent by some browsers: with it on, the Meta Pixel does not load and nothing about your visit is sent to Meta.

Who we share with

Service providers that run Equiny for us: hosting (Hetzner Online GmbH), email (Hostinger), payments (Stripe), and ad measurement (Meta, as described above). People you share a horse with see what you allow. Service providers you book see the horses and details in the request. We do not sell your data for money.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your records within 30 days, except what the law makes us keep, such as payment records. Care check answers that never became an account are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download or delete your data, and object to its use for marketing. California residents also have the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sharing, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Email [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.

Children

Equiny is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, documents and photos are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links, and sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell you by email before it applies.
